The Newport Wild Seafood Weekend is a two day celebration of our Northwest's vital wild-caught seafood industry of hard working fishermen and families who are small businesses harvesting our seafood.  The event will be located at: On Newport's Historic Bayfront, at Port Dock 7, 600 SE Bay Blvd. Newport, OR

    The Newport Wild Seafood Weekend will feature on Saturday, the third annual Great Newport Wild Seafood Cook-Off which has fast become one of the most popular culinary events in all the Northwest. Twenty teams, both professional and amateur will battle for over $2,500 in prize money and the honor of being “Best at the Bay.” Sunday's The Wild Brunch will feature a delicious wild seafood dining experience on the Bayfront overlooking Newport's diverse fishing fleet. Sunday will also feature the Wild Seafood Auction where the public can connect with fishermen & processors and bid on fresh wild Seafood. Saturday and Sunday will include the Wild Fish Walk & Seafood Public Market where the public can buy directly from the fishermen at the docks and over fifty vendors will be on hand selling fishing themed gifts, art, clothing, books and more plus food and drinks.
