Bridge Camera Up and Running
Rod Hockin, a local citizen, has been working with Charter communications to get our Bridge Camera back on line.  He said Charter has been great to work with and they consider the cam a priority.  Rod has channels on several cable stations and he is hosting the camera on his channel 20.  Right now it runs for a minute every 15 minutes.  He is going to monitor it for a week or so and make any modifications necessary.  He asked me if the 1 minute every 15 minutes was OK and I told him if we could have 2 minutes that would be best.  Anyway, try to tune in and see how it looks - have your husband check it out and make any comments about how long the image is on so I can advise him.  I'll ask him about the possibility of running the NOAA weather forecast as a background voice piece.
Port Terminal Bond Measure Passes
The vote came in and the numbers don’t lie, we get a  new terminal.  Many were present at Englund Marine awaiting the numbers.  As the preliminary results came in the crowd anxiously awaited, “no doubts,” thought Sara Skamser  pictured at the right.  Soon it was cheering and congratulations in order for all involved.  A big thank you goes out to everyone.  Thanks for making our port safer, and better for generations to come.
